Captain Scott Shackleton is a distant relative of Sir Ernest Shackleton, the legendary explorer whose ship, The Endurance, was discovered 107 years after it was crushed by sea ice and sank in the Antarctic.
Under the leadership of Sir Ernest, the entire crew survived—having escaped on foot and in lifeboats.
Scott has closely followed the two recent attempts to locate the shipwreck, documented in History’s Greatest Mysteries: Endurance – The Hunt for Shackleton’s Ice Ship.
